I am still here

Here and there and everywhere! That is what it feels like.

I have got really slack at posting. But honestly how many times can you say I went to Walmart, the grocery store and did school? I would really like for something interesting for you to read but I am really boring lately.

I have been going Christmas shopping , trying to find the best deals. I have taken some peeks at the Black Friday ads and do see some good deals. Just not sure I want to fight the WACKO's this year. Think I may sit this one out. Toys-r Us has had some really good sales and Walmart has also. I am at both on most weekends ;-)

Do you have something that really needs done but you never seem to get it done? I need power steering fluid in my van. It sound like a old person moaning every time I turn. I don't think of it until I am in the parking lots and hear the mooooornnnn. It is like my own personal warning sound, Clear the way!!! If that is not enough it has some sort of weird thing going on where it sorta bounces. Even if I am sitting still. If I had some booming music I think my mini van could dance. It does have bouncing rhythm.lol Hubby is putting it on the computer thingy tomorrow so see what the problem is and fixing the old moaning also. He has a big honey do list this weekend, including hanging Christmas lights! He just has no idea yet. (insert sneaky laugh).

*******Please pray for my great niece & her family. Her baby has been diagnosed with CF ( Cystic Fibrosis ). After she had the baby, she was in ICU for a week with a blood infection. Now this on a new young mother, it is so hard for her. She needs alot of prayer. Thanks!********

Finding Blogs

I love to read blogs. I love reading about new places near and far. I have found some really Great blogs lately. I discovered something really neat and you may already know this but humor me please ;-) If you look at someones profile on blogger, they usually have a general location (it is in blue) if you click it, it takes you to others from that area that are on blogger! Or... you can do what I do, If you want to find blogs in certian areas change your own location and click it. You can always change it back. If you didn't know this, you are welcome. If you knew this ..Why didn't you tell me? lol

Well that is my gift to you today. I have to get busy. Today I have to make a trip to Walmart, get back fix lunch (hubby gets to come home everyday for lunch) , Do school and clean (somewhere in there), and hopefully be done in time to cook supper. I would wish for a day off but then I guess that would mean that I was dead so I guess I will keep on keepin' on ;-)

Decorating for the Season

Okay,
YES,... it was 74* today,
YES,... it is JUST November,
Yes,...I know it waaay to early
but...
Maybe just maybe if I ask really early in the season I will get my SNOW this winter. Just a thought. And I was Christmas shopping this week and they had Christmas Music playing and Walking in a Winter Wonderland is now stuck in my head. That sort of explains my early background and winter stuff in here. I am not trying to skip Thanksgiving. It is one of the best holidays (no stress, I don't have to cook ;-)) and I am open to snow for Thanksgiving. I am open to snow on the 4th of July, as long as we would get some snow! Oh man, it is going to be a long winter!

Not much going on around here in my world. I made a BIG goof with the checking account and it upset me terribly. I am still not sure how I could make such a stupid mistake! I am always so on top of things like this and to make such a slip, well, it is just not me. I hate to lose control, not OCD, I don't have to be in control, just as long as someone is is in control. But it is all fixed now and the my world is at peace again.

I hope I don't have the same stupid dream tonight. I went toy shopping last night and got to bed late.That might explain this... In my dream ....when you bought a toy you got free rocks, yes rocks, flagstone rocks. 1 free with each toy. So I am trying to tote toys and pick out the right rocks for a walkway at the same time. I woke up so tired and my arms were hurting! Maybe to much multi-tasking?

Don't Read This One..Boring!

Yes, another doggie post..I know, I know! But I just got done giving her a bath. I do this 2-3 times a week. I do not like the "doggie smell". I like the clean puppy smell so she is washed and conditioned often. How does she get that smell? She never goes outside..hmmmm. I prefer her to smell like pantene or sunsilk so I use her shampoo and my conditioner. I should have taken some pics. she looks like a rat when wet. I then have to comb every little stinkin curl, okay smellin good curl. Anyway they have to be combed to prevent matting. Who knew clean hair could mat? Then she shivers like crazy and we keep her warm so that is crazy. I never knew a puppy was so much work. Like I needed that.

I do have to pack. Yes, we are off again. I though it would slow down in the winter. We are going to "The Lake" to clear some more land. Our lot joins and island and we are clearing that so we have a better lake view. The "nice" people let us build a screen porch but no digging out the lake in front of our lot. After we paid $250. for a permit. That is just the craziest thing in the world to me. Those people have to be making millions on permits! Our lot has a section of low land that has about a foot of water between us and the island (when it is full in the summer). In the winter this area is dry and we could dig it out and be able to paddle boat right up to our lot. No, some environmental mombo jombo stuff. So we will still have to cross to the island, we do have a road there so it is that bad, just not fair. We live in a crazy world!

And have I mentioned yet this year that I HATE TAXES! We own our house free and clear or I thought we did, but the county wants to think it is theirs. I hate property taxes! I like income taxes, the only time it pays to be "poor" and have kids ;-)

Yes, I read yesterdays post, I knew that would come back to bite me ;-)

Thankfully Tired

I am Tired of.........

my 2 youngest kids fighting

the laundry never fully being "done" it is endless

the new puppy no knowing where to "go"

the walls not being painted

the wood heater smell being in the house

trying to lose weight, and gaining more

I am thankful ...

that my kids are healthy and able to fight

that we have so many clothes, in fact to many

that I have a puppy

that I have walls

that I have heat

that I have food to eat and not starving ;-)


To every negative there IS a positive! It is just hard to see sometimes.
Life is not always easy but at least we are alive.

Update

Ezra (my son) we to the Dr. this morning to only be sent to the HOSPITAL for x-rays. I live in a small town, no hospital here. So I had to drive to the next town in the next county, about a 45 minute drive. It was a nice drive with the pretty fall colors.The one place I really wanted to avoid. It would not be so bad, except, the Dr. forgot to fax the orders over. Now the Dr. office was out to lunch from 12- 1:30. I was only 12:15. So we had to wait. We did go and eat lunch at one of his fav. places. I enjoy one on one time with by kids. Tiffany and I went out for supper last night. Well, we got back to the Hospital a little after 1:30 and the girl had us ready in no time. They were very nice and fast after the orders mix-up. And yes I was nice. I enjoyed the day with my boy. He does not have anything broke, just a sprain. So he should be go to go in a few days.

Well that is all for today, I am tired and it took all day so I have even more school this week to cram in to a few days.
