I am ready for a slow down, tie out, day off (whatever those are). We are out of school all this week and I need the break. Ezra is sick with the Flu or something so he doesn't feel like doing any school anyway. I think I am getting what he has now. Yuck!
I plan on moving a fish tank and putting up my tree today. Steve and Ezra got my lights put up last week and now I have to do the tree. I don't think I am going to the Black Friday sales this year. The stores are not really giving much of a discount. Most things are only about $10 off and to risk my life, I just need more.
Crazy things have been going on around here. We took down about 12 trees that were leaning toward our house. In the process of that they had one to break at the roots and slip off the side of the backhoe they were using to push them down with and took out my power to the house and a transformer blew. It was an accident but we have to pay for it all. Transformer and probably all the workers pay too. I dread that bill. They will let me know sometime this week how much $ it will be. During all of that going on, Tifs horse decided it would be a good day to colic and almost die. So I was running back and forth from the pasture to the power thingy. I had a girl in a pasture crying on a horse that did not want to get up and walk. Thankfully the horse finally rolled the colic away. And she is fine now but for a while, I didn't think she was going to make it.It was not a good day!
Well, that is all for now! Take care and Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Some online stores will be having Black Friday events...that might be a little less hectic.
Stay safe and I hope everything works out.
I don't blame you, I never go to the Black Friday sales anymore. I hate crowds and it just isn't worth the hassle for me. I didn't realize some stores had Black Friday online sales though, hmmm...that is more my style! Sorry to hear about your power lines, accidents will happen. So glad your horse recovered from colic, I have had two horses colic over the years and it is very scary!
